Real Estate Law & Land Governance
Real Estate Law & Land Governance

“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for it is the only thing in this world that lasts. It is the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for”

– Margaret Mitchell, Author, Gone with the Wind

Little wonder, it is called real property, implying that all else is not as real/ as tangible as it is.

The importance and value of land as security for homes, for agriculture and food security, as a secure investment, and as a habitat for life and natural resources cannot be overestimated. Therefore the need for excellence in the governance of it (equitable and sustainable administration, survey, subdivisions, amalgamation and conveyancing by sale, purchase and leasing) cannot be underestimated.

Because we recognise this, we ensure that every consultation and land transaction is done diligently and transparently, bearing in mind the legal regime governing land.  We are leaders in this area of practice, having advised on several land acquisition projects and real estate projects, and done quite a lot in the land dispute resolution space.
